The Family Resource Center is a safe, welcoming space for LBUSD families to confidentially share their needs. Needs that are compassionately assessed and quickly addressed with community activities, confidential counseling, and support services.

Strength in Parenting is a new monthly seminar-style series for parents and guardians of students in grades 5–12. Families will engage in guided conversations focused on connection, prevention, and practical strategies. Space is limited.

Family Naturalist Hike

Audience: Families of students grades PK-5
Join us for a guided family hike through Laguna Canyon with the Laguna Canyon Foundation. Tour the Nix Nature Center, explore canyon trails, identify native plants and animals, and engage in hands-on activities that build environmental awareness and strengthen family connections.

All information is held to strict confidentiality standards and is only transferable with individual consent.

Staffed by credentialed administrators, counselors, and licensed therapists. Members of the American School Counselors Association (ASCA), National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), and School Social Work Association of America (SSWAA).

Full recognition and compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the California Education Code. Information, research, guidelines, and statistics are provided by the California Department of Education, Orange County Office of Education, Orange County Department of Public Health, the California Department of Public Health, and the Centers for Disease Control.
